How to Set-up CityRow Connect Tablet + Apple Watch compatibility

  • Download the CityRow App from the iOS App Store (on the iPhone/iPad that’s paired with the Apple Watch).

    • NOTE: If this is your first time opening the CityRow App and you are prompted to choose your Rower type, select "Other".

  • Open the CityRow app within your Apple Watch.

  • Follow the permissions flow.

    • NOTE: Bluetooth and Health permissions are required for use.

  • Once you’re ready to workout, start CityRow within the Watch app.

    • NOTE: the CityRow app must remain open and running in the foreground of the Watch app.

  • Inside a workout or live class on your CityRow Connect Tablet, select the heart/headphone icon and start the pairing process.

  • Your Watch and rower will automatically pair.

How to pair your Apple Watch

Inside a workout select the heart icon. You can find the icon at the top left corner of the workout screen.

Select PAIR DEVICE. The CityRow app must remain open on the Apple Watch, while keeping the watch face up with the screen on during pairing.

Your device will display that it is connected.

After connecting the heart rate monitor device, you can exit the Connect to Your Devices modal and begin your workout.

Troubleshooting

Please ensure the Bluetooth is turned on your Apple Watch before attempting to connect.

For persistent connectivity issues please close and reopen the App. If the issue persists please remove and reinstall the App on your Apple Watch. Or, email our Customer Experience Team at go@cityrow.com for further assistance.
