We're sorry that you're seeing this sensor error message on your CityRow Connect! This can usually be fixed in one or two steps.

  1. Adjusting the sensor disk of your WayerRower solves most sensor disk issues. To adjust your sensor disk. Please see check out THIS VIDEO to see the sensor disk adjustment process, or checkout the instructions below.

  • Locate the sensor disk; this is the thin plastic disk above the clutch (which your handle strap is wrapped around)

  • Using a flat edged object like a butter knife, gently lift and wiggle the sensor disk in an upward motion toward the top deck. It is helpful to do this from both the left side and the right side of the tank.

  • Once this is complete, please attempt to row once more at a regular pace (not too slow).

2. If you're rowing on an WaterRower A1 CityRow Connect Rower (formerly a CityRow Max Rower) check the back of your tablet to ensure your cords are plugged in correctly and securely. See the diagram below for guidance, or check out THIS VIDEO.

If you are still seeing the sensor error after attempting these steps or if you are rowing on a different rowing machine, please reach out to our team at go@cityrow.com.
